The Germinare Scientific Journal (ISSN: 2795-4277) is a periodical and open access publication, coordinated by CIIERT (International Center for Research, Epistemology and Transdisciplinary Reflection) - Piaget Institute (https://www.ipiaget.org/).
The open-access is fully sponsored by the Institute. All manuscripts are automatically Open Access and there are no submission charges.
Germinare is a double-blind peer-reviewed journal.
The articles submitted to Germinare must contain original data, theoretical or experimental, in the areas of research and training offered by the Piaget Institute, namely in:
- Health;
- Physical Education and Sport;
- Education;
- Psychology;
- Management;
- Technologies.
The substantial part of the article must not have been published or submitted for publication in any other scientific publication. If part of the article has already been presented publicly, reference should be made to that fact in the “Acknowledgments” section.
Types of Publication accepted:
1 Observational Studies.
2 Experimental Studies.
3 Literature reviews. Synthetic literature articles that contribute to the generalization of knowledge.
4 Case studies. Case studies considered relevant.
5 Theoretical essays. Essays, deep reflections on specific topics, syntheses of multiple approaches, where a strong literary component is added to scientific, philosophical or other arguments.
6 Letters to the editor. In this section, two formats can be considered: 1) analysis of an edition or theme, and the editor suggests someone of reference to comment on the publications; 2) another format consists of the possibility of commenting or contesting results of a certain article from a previous publication.
Archiving and deposit policy: Germinare archives its open-access articles in its website https://germinare.ipiaget.org/ and in the open access multidisciplinary digital repository Zenodo https://zenodo.org/ to guarantee their long-time digital preservation.
Licence: All articles are published on Germinare under the terms of the Creative Commons CC-BY - Attribution 4.0 International License. It allows others to share (copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format), provided that appropriate credit is given to Germinare.
